A new place ready to serve some authentic taste of Indian food in a cozy and relaxed environment. Yesterday I got a chance to try out this newly opened place which is conveniently located near Burjuman right opposite to Centerpoint.
Parking at such busy place can be quite tricky specially on weekend but lucky we didnt face any problem. Biriyani wa kebab is a spacious restaurant where tables are set in such a convenient space that you dont feel odd due to the other near table contrary to other desi places.
They have quite a good options in the menu or I would say you would take some time to make your mind up what to choose or what not. Servers here are vigilant and they know their work
What we ordered?
- Hot n Sour Soup
- Cucumber Salad
- Chilli prawns
- Apollo fish
- Kebab Platter (chicken+mutton)
- Dal Shahadi
- Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani
- Lahori Bhuna Gosht
- Gulab Jaman
- Khubani ka meetha
Cucumber salad was so exciting to try, spicy and tangy at the same time
Started our session with hot n sour soup, warm and tantalizing soup made the start perfect then starters came on our table in the order of chili prawns, Apollo fish and Kebab Platter. Chili praws are something that I could eat the whole without sharing it with my husband, it was spicy yet hits the right palates in your mouth without blasting them. Apollo fish another yummy dish but it was little extra salty to my liking.
Kebab Platter was a hit item on our table. Each of the variety chicken tikka, lamb chops, grilled praws, behari boti, heryali chicken kebab etc all were balanced marinated and cooked to perfection. They also served us Tunday kay Kebab separately, which were no less than the other amazing kebabs we tried there.
In veg option we tried Dal shahzadi although my server suggested to try dal makhni. I wish I could have listened to him. The daal was average in taste although the presentation was a killing desi look.
Mutton Hyderabadi biryani was another exciting dish that was served to us with raita. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
From curry section we opted for Bhuna Lahori Gosht. It was flavorful and went well with shermal and butter naan.
In dessert I was excited to try hot gulab jaman and didnt regret at all where as other dessert khubani ka meetha was ok
Ended our session with pipping hot Karak Tea and made our way to home with happy and satisfied belly
Definitely recommend this place for all desi food lovers. Bring friends and family here and enjoy desi food in relaxed ambiance
