A place which is already famous among desi Dubai humans. Little did I know Bikanervala is not just a name associated with sweets and chaat, this brand has expanded much more to offer for famished desi souls like us, who loves recalling desi memories just by having desi food.
Bikanervala at Alseef Courtyard is an upscale version of traditional Bikanervala which we all know. The moment you enter here you feel the warm vibes. Spacious sitting area and a touch of modern interiors makes it a complete restaurant.
We started our session with assorted Chaats like Pani Puri Corn Salsa Chaat, Dahi Puri. Each one of the items was mind blowing and seriously I could have a second round of each of it but I had to keep space for other items. Fresh and crispy pani puri, spicy salsa chaat and drool worthy dahi puri are must try over here!
Now, lets talk about the starters Dahi ke Kebab and Sunheri Kurkuri were served in a visually pleasing way. Dahi ka Kebab were light and paired well with green chutney that was served along with the dish. Sunheri kurkuri as name suggest a fried version of vermicelli coated rolls presented in a glass shots.
Bhutta Methi Palak, Channa Masala, Manchurian Fried Rice and Biryani were our main course. Channa Masala and Manchurian were my fav among all three items
In drinks we opted for Jeera Sikanji and Passion Fruit Mojito. If I have to pick one between the two I will def go with the Passion Fruit Mojito. Refreshing and balanced sweetness makes it a perfect drink to accompany the food.
My husband and I are not into dessert but on the request of our server we tried Kulfi Falooda and didn’t regret. It was rich and creamy in each bite.
We ended our session on a cup of Karak Tea and happily made our way to back home. I would def recommend to check out this place at Al Seef for all your chaat and desi food cravings
Special Thanks to Randeep and the staff for making our culinary experience delightful 🙂
