Mumbai Express- Al-Karama

Desi food lovers specially vegetarians good news is am here with my experience with Mumbai Express located in Al Karama. This place is there for the last 7 years and am amazed it was my first time that I came to know about it. Maybe I am hardcore non veg person or I live far from this place but whatever the reason it was, am glad I have been to this place last Friday at lunch time.

Its a small place with a decent sitting area inside as well as outside. The menu is all about Mumbai street food. So, if you are like me who loves to eat out street food style food this place should be in your list to visit for yummy and economical experience.

• Sev Puri
• Pav Bhaji
• Tapan Grill Sandwich
• Mumbai Pizza
•  Schezwan French Fries
• Hakka Noodles
• Vegetable Manchurian Gravy
• Vegetable Fried Rice

We started off by trying out pani puri and sev puri. Sev Puri was so crispy and potato mixture was layered on crispy fried puri toppped off with sev. I couldn’t wait and finished it in no time.

Pav Bhaji came on our table with red colored bhaji simmering butter on top served with masala soft buns and onions slices. I am not a big fan of it but here the taste was so good that I ended but leaving just on bun for my partner.

I was suggested Tapan Grill Sandwich and Mumbai Pizza for trying out as mains. Tapan Grill was a filling version of veg sandwich layered with cucumber,tomato, onions and chutney in each layer. Bread slices were grilled and topped with shredded cheese.

Mumbai pizza a thick crust pizza the way I like to eat, it was served hot and totally a delight for our palates.

Shezwan French Fries is something every fries lover should try here. They were spicy but finger licking good

Hakka Noodles, Veg Manchurian and fried rice was our last items on the table. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. Let me tell you my husband is not at all a veg person even he was impressed with the taste of each taste and eat to his content. That shows the food taste here that even a non-veg person was happy and content by dine in here.

Lastly, I had kulfi faluda in dessert and my husband opted for masala tea. I would definitely like to recommend this place to my followers specially if you are a veg soul.
