London Dairy Bistro – Sheikh Zayed

London Dairy is not a new name and its synonyms to premium ice cream thats what clicks to our mind with this name but let me tell you, now London Dairy has notched up and came with a bistro where you can enjoy not only icecream and desserts but a good spread of  delectable menu as well. Its conveniently located at sheikh zayed, Trade Center Area and easily accessible from Financial Center Metro.

Recently I got a chance to visit this place and I can safely say whatever I tried there totally satisfied my taste buds and made it a successful culinary experience.

This double story bistro has warm clean interiors and open kitchen at upper floor keeps you entertain with its hustle bustle. On weekdays breakfast is available till 12 but on weekend its extended uptil 2:00 pm.

We preferred to ordered from lunch menu and took sometime to decide what to try or what not. Our culinary journey started with complimentary bread basket that served long with butter.

Our server suggest us to try fresh orange juice in drinks and we opted the suggestion happily and didn’t regret it was truly fresh without any additive or sugar.

In salad we had our all time favorite Ceaser Salad, fresh bunch of green leaves coated with Parmesan cheese topped with grilled chicken. I always feel less conscious after ordering one salad in my tasting sessions 😉

In mains we got to try Chicken Spicy Pizza, thin crust loaded with chicken and spicy tomato sauce was something every pizza lover would love to try!

Lamb Shank– It was soOooo tender and soft like pillow. I could have gobbled it in no time, if I hadn’t had to try other dishes. Australian lamb cooked for good 8 hours served with sauteed potatoes and herbs is a must try dish!

Rib Eye Steak– For meat lovers its an another good option other than lamb shank. Angus beef rib eye portion which my husband preferred to have it medium rare came along with green peppercorn sauce, fries and rocket salad.

Salmon– Since am a big on seafood, so salmon was must, it was soft and cooked to perfection however, the taste was average. I could feel the saltiness more on my palates in the end so I can’t rate it more than average in taste.

If you are pasta lover worry not, ample variety in menu would compel you to try each one of them, by the way I tried penne white sauce pasta, wish it had some chicken as well that could have made it super appetizing.

We ended our session on a sweet note of desserts- Waffer Corenta and Pistachio Milk Cake. Both were delectable though we were full by this time but couldn’t resist and enjoy the both desserts till our sweet tooth satisfaction.

Service here is prompt and friendly but I would like to mention special thanks to Sasha for being such a good host. I can’t wait to go back to try their breakfast and afternoon tea menu.
