I got a chance to try this chic and elegant cafe again, their second brand on a newly opened attraction for Dubai humans Bluewaters Island This place is well lid and boast white crisp interiors, comfy sofa and perky interiors with elegant lights makes this place so instagrammable. You can’t miss the book shelf at one nook of this restaurant and I bet this place would compel you to sit back, relax and read. .They have outside seating arrangement as well with an stunning view of Eye of Dubai. It was a task to decide weather to sit inside or outdoors 🙂
We started our session by ordering drinks first due to my sore throat I opted for ginger green tea my friend ordered fresh orange juice. I got excited when I saw my ginger tea served in a beautiful vintage cup instead of normal plain crockery.
In starters we ordered Wagyu Sizzler and Ceaser Salad. Lava grilled wagyu lollipops on a bed of potato puree were soft and juicy cubes and could have second helping of it,if I hadn’t had to taste other items. Ceaser Salad we chose with grilled chicken and I can’t complain anything about it 🙂
This time instead of ordering from mains we thought to give a try to their breakfast menu. This place is all day breakfast haven and on my first visit to the city walk branch I couldn’t try, so giving it a shot occurred to us.
We tried
- Mexican Breakfast
- Egg Whites Fritata
- Shakshuka
- French Toast
- Desserts
Mexican Breakfast was cooked with trio peppers, black beans and spinach topped with sour cream and creamy guacamole. I really like the fact that they use free range eggs. If you are an omelette buff, you wont regret to try it.
Egg Whites Fritata, it is a new addition to the menu and our lovely server Bob advised us to try this and we would regret if we didn’t listen to her. Fluffy egg whites cooked with mushrooms, spinash and parmesan cheese topped with fresh creamy burrata, took the normal egg whites dish to the whole new level. We couldn’t resist and gobble the whole dish in no time. Must try!
Shakshuka again it was hit on our table. The pita bread that was served along with it was so good on its own. I could have it alone with tea.
French Toast was soft and fluffy served with fresh berries and the blue berry sauce hit the right notes on our palates. Serving size was good enough for a one person.
They have many mouth watering desserts and pastries for your sweet indulgence. It was a difficult task to decide what to try and what not. Everything on the display were tempting. We decided to go with their famous Milkcakes and Tiramisu. The best thing about desserts here they don’t give you sugar rush, balanced in sweet and taste that you don’t want to stop spoons after spoons.
We ended our session with Latte Coffee and happily made our way to home with content heart of successful culinary experience.
Can’t wait to go back again 🙂
