Sultanate a new concept in the northern emirates. I usually don’t go out for food venture that side but Sultanate made me to drive all the way to Ajman. This place is located just next to Ramada Ajman. Facing Corniche that is spread stretch on miles gives it a perfect view to sit by the window side and enjoy its delectable food.
The menu here is extensive, yes it would take you a while to decide what to choose or what not. I took good 10 mins to narrow down my choices but the chef wanted me to try their specialty and that made my work easy peasy 😉
What was served on our table?
1- Papdi Chaat
2- Soup
3- Mix Grill- Mashwai
4- Bhatti Ka Chaap
5- Penne Polo Pasta
6- Fattoush
7- Murg Chaman Bahar
8- Gosh Dum Biryani
9- Shahi Tukda
10- Pan Cakes

In Starters we got to try 2 soup seafood and murgh nizami shorba, both were comforting and the best part was seafood didn’t even have any sort of smell. My friend who is not a fan of seafood, liked it too 🙂

Papdi Chaat is something I can eat anytime of the day and it was crispy and fresh. So for me it was a good start and I am definitely go back for other chaat and savory items.

In salad my friend ordered fattoush, shes big on it and liked each bite of it. Fresh veggies with crispy croutons on the top make it a filling option for healthy eaters.

Now comes the mains, Mix grill came on a black platter with fries. I have tried many mix grill and when I say this I mean it. It was one of the best, perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection is the right way to describe it.

Penne Polo Pasta another hearty dish the only thing I felt pasta was al dante and my personal choice is well done pasta but apart from that I can’t complain anything else. The taste and serving size is totally value for money.

In curry chef chose murg chaman bahar for us. Delicious gravy based dish from the kashmiri cuisine is similar to the palak paneer but in this dish meethi (fenugreek) is a main component of the dish. It was served with lacha paratha

Please take a moment of appreciation now as am gonna introduce the best dish of that day and its non other Gosht Dum Biryani. It was literally served in a very shahi style. Long grain aromatic rice infused with soft pieces of meat would drool you over it. I bet you wouldn’t want to stop eating it. I can safely say that it is the best biryani in AJMAN. Try and thank me later!!!!

We were totally full by this time but still dessert were left to try. Shahi Tukda and Pancakes made appearances on our table. Both were presented well but I couldn’t justify as I was totally satiated by then.
We left the place with contented tummy and no wonder I will be going back for the food again 🙂
Try out this new discovery in ajman and let me know your thoughts!
