So finally I tried Michelin starred maestro, Alfredo Russo’s signature restaurant – Vivaldi located in Sheraton Dubai Creek. This place offers you authentic taste of Italy so its safe to say you can get to know about Italy and Italian food without leaving Dubai.
I was there for my weekend dinner but sadly the team was unaware of my review session and after a struggle of 20 mins we were ushered to the table which I would totally approved for a table with a view. The view of fascinating Creek Dubai from where you get to see Al Seef and old souk with the glittering lights of sailing cruises left us to forget about the initial glitch and savor time with good food an classy ambiance
The manager helped us to order the most popular dishes so that we can get the authentic experience of Italian fare. What we ordered?
1- Tortelli di Spinaci, Spinach Tortellini
2- Lasagna Gratinata
3- Cod Fish
4- Margherita Pizza
5- Pollito Al Limone – Baby Grilled Chicken
6- Tiramisu
7- Creme Burlee
We started off by tasting complimentary breads made up of chickpea flour, both types of bread were so light and I munched on it happily while waiting for our order .
Our starters Tortelli Spinach was something I tried for the first time. The paste was without any sauce, yes you read it right and the in house made pasta was filled with spinach filling. I was amazed to see that I didn’t find it dry as I was assuming it and popped in each bite delightfully.
Second was Lasagna, it was well presented and equally good in taste. The red sauce was seeped well in each layer of lasagna sheet, making it super tasty.
Pollito Al Limone- Grilled baby chicken with lemon was such a treat to my taste buds. Tender pieces marinated with mild spices with a fork break softness was my favorite main course of the evening.
Cod Fish was my hubby choice which he seemed satisfied with the taste. After that we were served Margherita Pizza, which we hardly able to try a slice as we were totally full be then with sumptuous food.

In the end we satisfy our sweet tooth with classic Tiramisu and Creme Burlee. If you ask me my choice I would say Creme Burlee for sure. It was light yet creamy and I didn’t leave it till I finish it to the end 😀
