Allons-y (JLT)

Allons a new eatery in JLT that has just opened its door two weeks back. The place is head by a lady, who out of passion of cooking come up with the idea of this cafe Allons-y. Its a small but decorated lovely specially the right corner of the place is adorned with flower pots and some cute frames on the wall.

The menu is mainly focus on breakfast, drinks and coffee. So you can expect all day breakfast and its something I totally like. Well who doesn’t like good breakfast right?

Well after examining the menu my friend and I ordered

• American Breakfast
• Tandoori Chicken Gyro
• French Toast
• Vanilla Tea
• Arizona Sunset
• Chocolate Cookie

American Breakfast was comprised of scrambled egg, toast, hash brown, sautee tomatoes and some kale. The serving was enough for one person

Tandoori Chicken Gyro was a bread role filled with tandoori chicken, onion and yogurt based sauce. Taste was good but I wish the roll would have served hot as the cold sauce took the whole taste a bit down. It was served with chips and grapes. I believe this dish needs improvement in terms of presentation and taste.

French Toast – This place serves gluten free pancakes and brown bread french toast. Yes tasty treat with health. We opted for French toast that came with home made sauce and fruits.

In drinks I ordered Vanilla Tea it was good and my friend had the refreshing treat of Arizona Sunset. We both enjoyed our drinks respectively

The front counter was buzzing with in house made confectionery items like banana loaf bread, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry scorns etc . I was full but couldn’t help to try chocolate chips while my way leaving the place.
