I usually like casual eatery places where you can sit back and enjoy your time with your friends or family in laid back style. Recently found one in the amidst of humongous choices of cafes and restaurant.

This small place is decorated in pretty minimalist way with quirky quotes on the wall, kettle with Pakistani art on the rack and not to forget little kettle fountain at the corner of the cafe. The menu is limited but interesting options wouldn’t let you down

The menu’s quirky design brings a smile on your face and you happily start checking the options. Now the question is what we ordered?

  • Pizza Buns
  • Indian Style Nachos
  • Potato Patakha
  • White Sauce Fettuccine
  • Aloo Paratha
  • Nacho Paratha
  • Kettli Special Chai

We started by trying Indian Style Nachos, instead of normal tortilla chips they have used fried crispy roti topped with desi style salsa sauce and cheese. At first I couldn’t recognize the difference as it was so similar in taste but just by looking at it closer I got to know this desi variation and I would admit it was no less than the usual nachos. Definitely hit on our table.

Pizza buns was filled with pizza sauce and can a good option to order while your are there with your pizza lover friends but if someone is more into pasta then you can opt for penne or fettuccine pasta. I ordered white fettuccine pasta and my gluttonous  soul finished it in no time 🙂 That explains the all!

Potato Patakha an interesting name, these are small chicken fried balls served on the bed of thick sauce

Lets talk about stuffed paratha here, they have some delectable options even I was there at dinner time still I couldn’t resist and ordered Aloo and Nachos stuffed paratha for myself and my husband.  It was a delightful to see that parathas were not drenched in oil, rather quite soft and light on stomach. For me nachos were a different option but still who doesn’t like aloo stuffed paratha and I am not an exception 😉

I was quite trilled to try chai (Tea) here as the name of the cafe is Ketli (Kettle). On suggestion of our server we tried Ketli special chai, it was ok for my taste but I would definitely like to try other flavors next time 🙂

They have board games for everyone that would not let you get bored. Go and experience this new economical place, its like a fresh breath among many other joints in Karama. Definitely worth trying!
