The Grub House- A hidden gem in International City

Being a foodie I always care about the food quality and taste rather venue. Recently I discovered this small eatery in International City by the name The Grub House. This place offers good variety of north indian and indo-chinese food. From non-veg to veg it caters all palates and choices.

My review is based on their food delivery service. Last week on a lazy friday I ordered some of the dishes at the lunch time. Delivery was on time and food was packed in a proper way. My order was

• Chicken Tikka (starter)
• Bombay Chicken Biryani
• Chicken Manchurian
• Fried Rice
• Garlic Chicken
• Lemonades

My husband and I both are non-veg by heart so our choices are obviously based on all non-veg items. Chicken Tikka as starter is available in half and full portion , we opted for half and totally impressed with the well marinated and perfectly grilled tikka. I could have it as my main course 😉

Moving on to the main course, Bombay biryani was aromatic with a layer of white rice on spicy masala, by mixing both you can enjoy the flavorful taste. Its not very spicy(which is good for me) and having a boiled egg in it with chicken was a surprise element for me but totally liked it.

If you like Chinese no worries, they have plenty of option in it and taste exactly what we desi likes to eat Indo- Chinese. Chicken Manchurian with fried rice was finished in not time from our table that explain well, so its highly recommended to try both where as ginger garlic chicken couldn’t impress us much. I felt the gravy was very thick due to extra cornflour.

Chicken noodles good amount of chicken, noodles and veggie with balanced spices makes it hit and now I know from where to order for my noodles cravings.

In drinks we got to try lemon mint cooler and lime soda both were refreshing but for me Lime Soda wins my vote.

We ended our lunch on a sweet note of soft like clouds julab jaman drenched in sugar syrup. Oh my God they were so yum!

I can safely say that this place is totally a hidden gem in international city, pocket friendly and big on taste. No doubt I will keep ordering from this place. Do try it out!
