Society cafe and lounge is an apt place to hang out with friends, spend some quality time with family or just go there all alone to meet freddie 😉 Who is freddie? Well you need to go and check out yourself that beary cute thing.
Society cafe and lounge is one of the most grammable cafe in Dubai. The whole concept of having an open space that is aesthetically decorated in garden style and the best thing its all covered so you can enjoy any time of the year without worrying about the scorching heat of Dubai. The middle display of desserts and patisseries gives you feel like a candy station in the backyard, the only thing that I missed were butterflies ❤

After settling in and absorbing the beautiful vibes around us we geared up ourselves to order some delectable items from the menu. We started off by ordering Grilled Chicken Salad and Creamed Corn and Coconut Soup. Soup had a strong taste of truffle and taste a little sweet due to corns, so if you are not a fan of truffle you would prefer to skip.
Grilled chicken salad was crunchy leafy fresh salad with a chunks of grilled chicken which had a flavor of smoke. It was light on stomach and totally filling at the same time. Loved it!
Fish and Polenta and BBQ sambal was our main course. I am a big buff of fish and I proved it again by ordering Fish and Polenta. Beautifully golden crusted fish served along with polenta and herb aoili, salad and some lemon wedges. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot serving and devoured it in no time 😉
The other dish BBQ sambal was chicken pieces in skewers on the bed of naan and avocado, topped with mint and cherry tomatoes. Having an Asian palates I wouldn’t rate it as authentic one in taste but it was delightful to see this in a continental menu.
If your kids are more inclined towards burgers, dont worry Society Cafe got you covered with three variations. We opted for crispy chicken, oozing cheese, chicken patty and fresh veggies make it a kicking choice for burger lovers. We both shared and relish each bite of it.
In drinks I would definitely recommend High Society and Coconut and Lavender Lemonade. Both are visually pleasing and taste superb but if I have to choose between the two I would go for the refreshing coconut and lavender lemonade, I couldn’t help but to have a second round of it and that explains all.
Lets talk about my favorite part desserts. This place offers some toothsome options to try and most of them are on display that makes it easy to choose but at the same time compels to try all of them :D. I got to try custard pie, vanilla cake and rose & strawberry pistachio cake. Bite of each dessert elate your taste-buds and satisfy your sweet tooth. Don’t forget to try Rose and Strawberry Pistachio cake from here and thank me later.
We ended our session on a calming chamomile tea
