Last weekend I got a chance to visit this hidden gem tucked away in Majestic Hotel Bur Dubai. It was my first time to this property and like the fact that they have good options of restaurants in the hotel.

My husband and I were welcomed warmly and the server ushered us to our reserved table. The restaurant boost indoor and outdoor setting area and thank fully we got to sit outside. The moment we step out to the outdoor sitting area it seemed like as if we are in Santorini, whitewashed plain wall and minimalist approach to the table setting, made our feeling strong as if we are transported to the Greece. Isn’t it fascinating?

After getting ourselves comfortable our session started with in-house made breads with different dips . Tzatziki Dip- combination of Greek yogurt, garlic, dill and extra virgin olive oil. Second one was Tryokafteri which was a spicy version of feta Greek cheese and last one was a seafood dip Taramoslata Fish Roe.

In salad we tried Roka Salad, which was not only wholesome but light on stomach too. The salad came with figs vinaigrette, strawberry and olive oil lemon sorbet.

For main course, we took help from our server who advice us to try Short Ribs and Mediterranean Bream. We didn’t think for a second and flowed with the suggestion. Since my husband is a carnivorous soul so he opted for Short Ribs whereas Seafood was a perfect choice for me.
Short Ribs was well marinated and the meat could break just with the lips. So, you can imagine how tender and soft it would be. My bream was served on the bed of steamed veggies drenched in fennel sauce, however, I couldn’t enjoy it that much due to raw smell of it. I just filled my appetite with the aromatic veggies that came along with it.

Now, lets talk about the dessert. Again we went with the server recommendation and ordered Coffee lovers. As name suggest its a coffee dessert served with cream crunch and Greek coffee. If you are a coffee buff then definitely try it.

I would say if you are a person who likes to try different cuisine, then you must try this place. Not only food but the ambiance transport you to the Greece without leaving Dubai. The staff here is friendly but the serving time took so long that half of the time we spent waiting for the food to get served.

Do try this place and let me know what do you think about this place. Until next time bye!
