Have you ever sniffed aroma of freshly baked stuff upon entering to any bakery? Isn’t it the most enticing thing? My love for such bakery items that too fresh and warm can never fades away. Last week when I got the chance to visit Bakemart which has now expanded as Bakemart Gourmet and serving savory items too. I could not think of anything but to try breakfast there(for the love of breads and croissants).
They have 9 outlets across the Dubai and I visited the Jumeriah one. This place boast pretty vintage vibes inside the restaurant and a garden setup outside that totally impresses you as you enter this place.
The menu features good variety of options to try. They serve breakfast till 12 and we reached there around 1 but the staff was courteous enough to let us order some from the breakfast section.
What we ordered there?
- Royal Egg Benedict
- Trio Fries
- Chicken Skewers
- French Toast
- Salmon
From breakfast section we got to try famous Royal Egg Benedict and French Toast. Eggs were perfect to start our session and french toast were soft and great thing about them they were not very sweet, exactly they way I like to eat 🙂
Yes, I am a sucker of french fries, seeing Trio Fries in the menu made me to order them right away. French fries, sweet potatoes and halloumi served with three different dips. I won’t lie I am not a big fan of sweet potatoes but yes I thoroughly enjoyed french fries and golden crusted halloumi sticks.
Salmon is something I never forget to order. Soft and tender piece of fish cooked in fennel puree served on the bed of steamed veggies. I didn’t leave a morsel of it that explains it all.
Chicken skewer– Well marinated chicken cubes with veggie pieces on the skewer is a must try if you want something in chicken here. They were presented in a platter covered with indian bread (naan pieces). I won’t rate this dish as the best but it didn’t disappoint me either.
In drinks we opted for fresh juices, orange and watermelon. The presentation of watermelon juice was quite interesting and didn’t stop us to have its second round.
Now, come to the most alluring part of our session the desserts. The manager took me to the bakery section for selecting my choice of dessert. I was literally drooling over each dessert and the smell of the bakery was making me hungry again despite the fact I was totally full.
I chose Trio Chocolate and Mango Cheesecake from there. I can’t tell you mango cheesecake is something I would definitely recommend. It was heaven in each bite. We finished it almost in no time without thinking for a second about the calories ;). Trio chocolate was another hit item on our table. In taste it was like KitKat, chocolate layers of white and dark with the base of wafer, it melts in your mouth and delights your palates for sure. If you are chocolate buff do try!
We ended our session with a cup of Latte and made our way happily to home with satisfactory experience. Would I recommend this place? Yes definitely 🙂
My recommended dishes:
- Royal Egg Benedict
- Trio Fries
- French Toast
- Salmon
Oh, this looks so tasty! Heh but portions look too small for a big man like me. Sometimes I think of giving up sports and eat same amount as normal people

Eggs Benedict is my favorite, but all the food looks so amazing. There is nothing that makes me happier than finding a restaurant that has fresh juice, it just tastes so much better!
