I have never been this much big fan of tea before coming to UAE. Maybe work mode or weather cant blame anyone. Well am on a hunt of best tea places in Dubai and during my search I have come across this new cafe which I was not aware of and the best part is its very close to my place. I am talking about Chai and Co, am glad to find out about this place, its not new and quite doing well among the locals but didnt find any buzz about it on social media (quite sure now it will be :D)
Located on the front face of Warqa Mall, this place looks quite normal from the outlook but the moment you enter, it changes your perception instantly and you feel like stepping into a gourmet cafe. Contemporary design with a aesthetically done interiors definitely impress you. Funky frames on one wall in contrast with kettle wall on the opposite with two vibrant yellow sofas and hanging lamps gives you peppy vibes . Both outdoor and indoor laidback setup shout out for being a perfect hangout place with friends and for casual meetups.
Don’t get deceived just by the name, this place serves you not only chai but delectable food as well. From breafast option to some lipsmacking stuffed rolls, how can I forget the biryani I tried here. It was not spicy (the way we desi likes) but full on taste that I couldnt complain a bit and kept on eating till my heart content.
UFO kababs will definitely transport your palates to the heaven of succulent taste. Juicey and tender kababs on paratha disc is a treat in every bite
Stuffed paratha will make you crave for more, would recommend it with prawns stuffing, bet you will love it. Paratha was crispy and non greasy unlike what we get usually get slithering in oil. Highly recommended!
If you are meat lover, you can try lamb stuffed parathas or go for their famous sliders. However, potatos stuffing needs some improvement.
Proudly serves smoothie without any water, amazed? Yes I tried Raspberry love and it was love at first sip.
After trying all delicious food we felt like Garfield and didn’t want to move but the dessert choices and tea selections compelled us to do happy dance. We ordered pistachio milk cake and my friend opted for lotus one. Milk cake was exactly the way I like balanced sweet and soft like clouds where as lotus one is for sweet tooth.
We ended our session on a cuppa of Karak Tea while talking to the owner sameer who is a passionate and hard working business man . Can’t explain how much this premium karak tea made me happy. It had balanced sweetness not like any other sugar rush tea. I accept the fact its expensive as compare to the tea avaliable here in Dubai but yes if you want a premium taste then this is the place to be.
Would I recommend this place? Big Yes! Do try it out and let me know your thoughts about this hidden gem
