After the huge success of City Walk Meraas has comeup with another destination distinctively combine leisure attraction with F&B concepts at a place near to the beachfront by the name La Mer located at Jumeirah Public Beach.

La Mer projects a whole new dimension through leisure and entertainment aspect. The array of F&B outlets will definitely bring a lot of business and mark  foray on the Dubai’s market.

Recently, I got a chance to went their with my fellow blogger and a good friend on a review to this newly opened cafe Treej. Claiming to offer Emirati cuisine in fusion style without compromising the authentic taste.

What we ordered here?

  • Lamb Chops
  • Fouga Salmon
  • Gucamole Vegan Sandwich
  • Chicken Coriander Salad
  • Lemon Zest Shrimps

We started our experience with fresh juices. I opted for watermelon where as my friend liked to have orange. Both came in a tall glasses without any pretentious presentation.

Coriander Salad

In starters we tried Chicken Coriander Salad which was nothing but a joy to eat. Fresh mix veggies with boiled shredded chicken, coriander and nuts makes it a whole dish that would definitely feel light on stomach.

Lemon Zest Shrimps

Other dish was Lemon Zest Shrimps which came with a thousand island dip. I couldn’t feel the lemon zest taste in it otherwise they were something you would like to try if your are seafood lover.

Guacamole Vegan Sandwich

Now come to the main course, Gucamole vegan sandwich for those who don’t want to indulge in heavy course and fries came along makes it a complete meal to fill average appetite.

Lamb Chops

If you are carnivorous person then don’t forget to try Lamb Chops here in Treej, well marinated with Emirati spices and grilled to perfection pieces will satisfy your tastebuds for sure,  served along with the choice of bread or rice potatoes and onion.

Fouga Salmon

I have been living in UAE for quite sometime now and being a foodie have tasted many Emirati Rice dishes so I can take the liberty of saying that I am familiar with the taste and flavors. Fouga Salmon in the menu was new for us and we didn’t miss the chance to try it. Salmon was quite pleasing however the rice was missing some taste kick. I won’t rate it not good but addition of little more herbs could have made it more delicious.

Overall, the food was good and the weather took the leverage to make the whole experience worthwhile. Am definitely going back to try dessert and other items which we couldn’t this time.
