Brunches are meant to be laid back, relaxed and usually a family gathering. In Dubai brunch is more like a tradition and we have got plenty of options for the same. From International to Arabic and from Italian to Indo Pak whatever your palate desires you can easily find in this city.
I love the idea of going to brunch on weekends as brunches are meant to be laid back, relaxed and a family affair. Dubai is one place where you will find plenty of options according to your palates.
Last week I got the chance to try The City Brunch at Seasonal Taste located in The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor. It was my first time there so had no clue what to expect. After going there I can say the city brunch is one of the most elaborated brunches I have ever been. Plenty of options and counter made me really confused from where to start. Indian, Italian, Japanese and what not was there.
Being from Pakistan my favorite was Indian counter as there was a variety of chaat, tikka, kabab and breads. If I am not wrong I spent most of my time there and yes not to forget kulfi, my God I had such delicious kulfi after a long time in Dubai.
Meat counter was a treat for a carnivorous soul like us. My husband and I tried some variety and it was not less than a treat. I believe this brunch is one of the extensive brunch I have ever been and loved the food taste and variety.
Pan Asian counter was another highlight of this brunch. From handmade noodles to sushi and soups would definitely tantalized your taste buds and will feed your tummy to the level where you would be moving like a snail.
This brunch is kids friendly which is rare to find. There was a dedicated area for kids where they can play and parents can relax and have some personal space without worrying about their kids as they are monitored by designated staff. Moreover kids counter with all the favorites like fries, kababs, nuggets and muffins are there.
A refreshing sight of chefs entertaining kids on the table is also an another reason why I loved this brunch, apt for family and friends.
Not to forget dessert counter, oh-so-heavenly. Consider it your cheat day and indulge in endless variety of international and local options. Treat yourself with not only dark chocolate but white chocolate fondue. Pie, tarts, pastries, cakes and Arabic delights will only make you gaga specially if you are a dessert lover.
I would highly recommend this brunch for its variety and value of money. I cant wait to go back again with my family and friends.
