Finding a right shade of foundation is a never ending quest. You like some foundation but gets tried after using sometimes or at times due to hormonal changes your skin no longer get along with the same. Few are lucky to bless with flawless skin but usually we all fight with acne spots, pimples and brown marks specially if you have oily skin.
I was hearing alot about Vichy’s Dermablend 3D correction foundation, so thought to try and ordered right away through BasharaCare. My favorite online platform to order beauty products. This foundation comes in a comes in a black box that matches the 30ml tube the product is supplied in. I really like the matte, satin finish of the tube, an elegant packaging. The Dermablend foundation comes out of the tapered end of the tube, in that way you have complete control over how much product comes out.
Vichy Dermablend [3D CORRECTION] claims to be a corrective high-coverage foundation that smooths the skin’s surface and minimizes the appearance of 3D concerns. Just one application is enough to turn spot-prone skin into a smoother, more even, “ready to face the world” complexion. The complexion looks natural, smooth and matte for up to 16 hours. SPF 25.
It comes in 5 different shades from 15Opal (fairest) to 55Bronze (Darker). Since the shades are limited so you need to be careful in selecting the right shade. This base is mainly for oily prone skin and packed with full of active ingredients to clear and beautify your complexion, including Salicylic acid, Eperulin and Alliagel. There is no secret that most of the products for acne and oily skin contains Salicylic acid that limits sebum secretions, unblock pores and promote a clearer complexion. Eperulin is an aqueous extract from the bark of the tree Eperua falcata Aubl, with anti-inflaming properties. It shows visible effects on improvement of skin firmness and elasticity whereas Alliagel helps blur imperfections and make your skin look smoother.
My Experience
I selected Nude 25 for myself but unfortunately it was light for my skin tone. I have to admit I found it a little difficult to work with this whipped cream texture at first. Taking out just a little bit of foundation on a palette and build coverage with hand as I go is what I found to work best for me. I was sulking cause the shade was not right and made me look too white, however I can’t deny the fact this whipped cream conceals the marks effortlessly and I was wishing I would have ordered the other shade.

Verdict
No doubt this foundation is good option for oily skin. 3D’s quick dry texture sits comfortably on skin, with or without primer and I am planning to order again the right shade to avail all the benefits of this 3D correction formula and will update again about this product.
