Palmers is not a new brand for anyone and many of us can’t deny the fact of its effective products, ranging from skin to hair care, baby products and above all pregnancy therapy stuff. Palmers have come up with another exciting hair range with all the benefits of Olive Oil.
Olive Oil is famous for its numerous benefits, its truly a powerhouse when it comes to hair, skin and beauty applications. Its rich, moisturizing properties make it ideal for use on your hair, your mane is bound to reap the many benefits of olive oil.
They have introduced new range of olive oil with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Vitamin E. Jamaican black castor oil is rich in Omega-9 fatty acids that moisturize the scalp, which prevent your hair from drying out. Applying castor oil regularly can help moisturize your roots and scalp to prevent dry air, as well as promote hair growth.Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps repair and build tissue. When you apply vitamin E to your scalp, it helps reduce inflammation and repair damage to the follicles, and healthy follicles encourage hair growth.
It claims the balanced blend of extra virgin olive oil, keratin amino acids and vitamin E cleanses thoroughly and leaves hair soft, easier to style and stronger. I received this shampoo and leave in conditioner last week and was excited to use yet another range. After the use of Shea Formula the expectation was already high with the new range.
My Experience
I have been using it for the last one and half week, no doubt the smell is addictive like the last one. Its specially designed for curly and frizzy hair. Let me clear my hair are chemical treated(Keratin) so I use very particular shampoo and conditioner in order to maintain them. After first wash I could see my hair had some volume which I was missing due to treatment. I love how this shampoo seems to have plumped up the strands and right after towel drying my hair I sprayed leave in conditioner into my locks and then comb from roots to tips for evenly distribution. There is no need to rinse.
Next day my hair was manageable and straight but not death straight. However on third day my hair seemed to need wash again. I believe the leave in conditioner weigh down my hair like other conditioners. For me shampoo is a must try but the leave in conditioner couldn’t impress me much like the Shea Formula Conditioner.
My Verdict
Yes, you would definitely like the fragrance that will linger for long after a good shower. If your hair are not chemical treated, dry, frizzy and thin this shampoo is for YOU. The best part about palmer’s haircare, they are free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil and gluten.
