Few days back attended a bloggers event at GBK located at the first level of Mirdrif City Center. An internationally renowned UK-based casual dining brand and leader in quality burger concepts, Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) provides innovative and exotic combinations designed by internationally recognized chef Peter Gordon; bringing together the freshest produce prepared with care and attention to maximize flavor. The traditional meal has been turned into an indulgent and nutritious experience using the finest beef, chicken and only the best ingredients available to create each burger alongside other fresh produce with sauces to compliment and surpass expectation.
Recently they have introduced four new flavors of burgers for a limited period of time.
- Wagyu beef, cheese and bacon
- Bruce leek
- Chicken cajun blue
- Chicken satay
In starters we got to try chilli fried chicken bites served along with sriracha hot sauce mayo. I wish the bites were little more seasoned
Out of four we ordered three to try these new flavors. My husband is a meat person so he opted for wagyu beef- a loaded one stacked with cripsy beef bacon, BBQ sauce, house mayo, dill pickle, salad and cheddar cheese to make everything taste amazing.
Chicken cajun was a marinated chicken burger layered with blue cheese slaw, jalapenos, pineapple and sriracha mayo. It was an average one for me as am not a big fan of blue cheese.
Chicken satay was my hunger partner of the evening. It was not only light but filled me well too. Warm satay sauce, crispy onion, garlic mayo,rocket and relish all were combined and layered with char-grilled chicken patty. You can order the same with panko breadcrumbed & fried chicken patty instead of grilled.
