A heaven for carnivorous is a right introduction of The Meat Co. They proud to serve the best steaks in town without going overboard on the presentation. Glad to see they take the flavors very seriously and don’t comprise on the ingredients to serve the best.

Last weekend my husband and I made our way to the glittering Arabic setting of Madinat-e-Jumeriah. This place disconnects you from the contemporary world and let you bask in the luxury of Arabic heritage. Simply amazing!!!

Low- key setting indoor or alfresco picturesque view of Burj Ul Arab give you liberty of dine in, indoor or outdoor according to your preference. We preferred to sit indoor as the weather was little hot but can’t wait for the cooler weather to come again and relish the food with the spectacular view. The whole place was buzzing with people, it was weekend so it was expected. Still we managed to get a good place for ourselves in terms of light for pictures (mandatory for bloggers). All the staff here is from South Africa so they are well-versed about the menu and suggest you the best.

Garlic bread were the perfect kick of our evening. Cheesy and baked to perfection without being too hard to bite. The taste of the garlic was not overpowering and beautifully infused with cheese and in house herbs.

In main course I opted for Salmon Fillet which was as soft as clouds served on the bed of crushed potato with fresh peas, poached prawn and leek sauce. Healthy yet filling!!

Char Grilled Chicken marinated in lemon and herb with a choice of Peri Peri or BBQ  sauce, well flame grilled but a bit hard for my liking came along with a side of salad.

Where as the Prime Steak was the star of the evening. Let me confess I am not into steak that much but its opposite with my husband. Steak over here compelled me to eat more than my usual portion. It was the first time I was constantly praising and eating the steak at the same time. One of the best I can confidently say. Here they offer different grades of beef and source the best of the beef world.

Our level of ecstasy was elevated with the arrival of traditional South African baked dessert Malva. It contains apricot jam and has a spongy caramelized texture.  This sweet decadent dessert with a caramelized exterior and spongy interior soaked in tasty warm sauce was no less than a treat to our palates. I was blown away with the taste and didn’t want to share with my husband. I wish I didn’t ask for only one serving for us.
