Finding new products for keeping the makeup long lasting is never ending search. Being an oily skin person I always tempted to use primers specially silicon based as it fills open pores and then silicon helps to sustain the base for long.
Recently I received primer gel by one of the new brand for me Ofra. Before that I had only used its lipstick but now its time to try other products.
Ofra Silicon Primer
Silicone Primer is a special gel formula used to prepare the skin and stabilize the makeup for up to 12 hours. Contains Silicone, Aloe Vera and moisturizing agents.
How to use
Apply a small amount on the palm of your hands then massage lightly onto face and neck. To be applied before foundation.

This comes in the plastic 30 ml bottle with pump, which makes it super easy to control on the quantity
My Experience
I have been using benefit’s porefessional for quite long time but yes its quite expensive to use on daily basis. My favorite foundation Double Wear by Estee Lauder is a Matt formula which some times require moisturization underneath the base to avoid lines and flawless blend. My first impression with this primer that is sets to dry without feeling heavy and I could feel my skin doesn’t feel and seemed all set to use base without using any moisturizer before the primer as its already enough to prep and prime the skin. I was quite impressed with its first use. Used with my skin tint which only remains on my skin not more than 2 hours but with this primer I could be able to have its wearability for long like good 4 hours on my oily skin.
