Last week while staying in manzil downtown I got a chance to experience one of the lively restaurant of manzil downtown The Courtyard. Its a popular shisha lounge where not only those who are staying in the property but people like to come here for its delectable food and good Shisha.
This place offers alfresco dining experience and perfect for the weather that is around the corner. In daylight this place reflects the modest Arabic culture with decent decor and open huge place resembles to the old ways of gathering and events.
In night this whole place transforms into sassy, lively Shisha lounge. Where people like to unwind with friends, food and locals favorite’s Shisha. Upon arrival dark lights and music set our weekend mood instantly, we preferred to sat indoor in boulevard kitchen which is right next to it, so we could take pictures easily.

- Salmon
In starters we ordered hummus and batata hara which helped us to munch on while waiting for our main course. Salmon was my choice where as my husband preferred to opt for grilled chicken. Salmon was well cooked served along with rich mashed potato. We didn’t even leave a morsel of this delectable salmon on the plate. Grilled Chicken was average but chicken biryani was aromatic and flavorful.
In drinks we had refreshing pineapple and mint lemonade. We didn’t order any dessert as we were totally full by then. With the passing time the place was getting crowded with people, busy in eating, chatting and enjoying Shisha.
