Home grown noodle house has been re-noodled. Last night I attended the relaunch media event of this already famous The Noodle House, tucked away in Madinat-e-Jumeirah ground level.
About Noodle House
Think the ultimate in Asian flavors and a whole lot of noodles.
Their menu is simple. Incredibly delicious recipes from the best taste-hot-spots across Asia, delivered from in house kitchen to your table or your door. Famed ‘Sticks, Hands, Spoon’ mantra gives you the freedom to enjoy your food the right way, the way it’s always been eaten. Grab that bao, slurp your laksa, or chopstick a mouthful of noodles.
The place was buzzing with people from media and bloggers. We were greeted warmly by the staff there and offered drinks and mojhitos at the entrance. Servers seemed busy in distributing the Chef’s selected menu on every table. We all got to taste some authentic Asian Soul Food from the street of Jakarata to the hawker stalls of Singapore.
What we tried there?
- Chicken Satay
- Meat Satay
- Soft Shell Crab Bao
- Wasabi Beef Roti
- Singaporean Noodles
- Strawberry and Basil Lemonade
Chicken and Meat Satay both were tender but my preference is chicken one, it was juice and well marinated. Soft Shell Crab Bao was golden crusted crabs in a soft Chinese buns with lime sriracha mayo. Wasabi Beef was grilled flank steak with mixed vegetable, candied ginger and sweet wasabi dressing filled in a roti. The roti was crispy, the presentation compels sink in your teeth instantly. Singapore style noodles was a dish of stir-fried rice vermicelli seasoned with curry powder, vegetables, scrambled eggs and roasted chicken. It was delicious and light in taste.
In drinks we got a refreshing Lemonade concoction of strawberry and basil. It came in a tall serving glass and enliven our senses.
Hope to visit soon to try other variety from their delectable menu. If you are a person who like Pan Asian taste then its definitely worth a try.
