Last week I packed my bags and leave for a small staycation to the Centro one of the hotel of Rotana. I have been to the Sharjah one last year and it was a pretty good experience. Just by entering the property, felt like Deja’ vu, everything looked same from the lobby to the front desk and from the lifts to the restaurant but this time the hotel was in vicinity of Dubai. Centro Barsha combines style, warmth and convenience with a dash of creativity to deliver a relaxed experience.
Rotana group is not a new name in the hotel’s industry and has many projects under their name.Centro is one of them. Its modern, stylish and affordable lifestyle business hotel. Centro Hotel is uniquely located at the feasible distance from Sharaf DG Metro and Mall of the Emirates. The area around the hotel has all the basic facilities that a visitor most likely to require.
I checked in around 2.00 pm and I was given a small tour of the property that helped me to get to know about it before going in to my room. I was given Suit Room for the stay and let me tell you it was spacious, comfy and well decorated. Despite being a 3 star hotel the room and all the amenities provided here is appreciable. After offering namaz in my room I went out for a photoshoot of the hotel for my blog and wander to the facilities like modern gym and rooftop outdoor temperature controlled swimming pool. The only thing that Centro Barsha lacks is the no availability of Spa.
Suit Room Amenities and Room Service:
The Suite has a living-dining room, and a bedroom with a bathroom attached. The high bar table with marble top was set with a bowl of fruits to welcome us in. I helped myself to the complimentary tea and coffee, and made myself at home. Living room was decked with L-shaped sofa and a relaxing chair with foot rest. If you are staying there with kids, they will love to have this room all by themselves and not to forget both room has their own television screens.
The bedroom has queen comfy plush white bed, office table, two wardrobes with ample space for storage and one of it comes with locker, two pair of slippers and iron stand.
Bathroom is compact but well built and loaded with amenities which is quite unusual in 3 star hotel.
After taking a nap I got ready for a weekend night and my hubby joined me right after his office timings. We both went out for a dinner as it was half board booking. After coming back to hotel room we made ourselves a hot cup of tea and watch a movie on our bedroom screen till late night.
In morning we made our way downstairs to the C-taste restaurant for breakfast. Its an all day dining restaurant with an international inspired buffet. There were plenty of items for a hearty breakfast like waffles, eggs, hash potatoes, pizza, baked beans, aloo bhaji, saute veggies, chicken sausages and turkey bacon etc. For calories conscious people fresh fruits cuts were on display. The bread counter was loaded with muffins, donuts, assorted breads etc. You can have fresh juice or tea to wash down all these delectable variety.
Due to hot weather I couldn’t avail the roof top pool but I could see some foreigner were there even in this hot weather and keeping themselves cool with the drinks served by the pool bar there.
