Last week I was at Roda Al Bustan for a staycation. Yes, staycation with in a city, I was excited to experience how it feels like to go on a stay without leaving Dubai. This 5 star hotel is located near Dubai airport offers luxury services and delights you with modern comforts.
The exterior of this building is only a facade, the hotel itself is grand and the whole setup is inspired from old Arabesque infused with contemporary luxurious style. From the lobby to the room, you would be surprised with the ambiance and decor. The lobby area is huge and a hub of collection of restaurants of Roda Al Bustan.
I checked-in after 2 and the whole process was so smooth. I was ushered to my room which was on the first floor and I got to know that its Premium Suite. Who wouldn’t like to be treated as a royal? so yes, I was excited to see my room for stay and browsed the whole area with glee. The suite had one bedroom and one spacious living area equipped with LCD, dining table for 2, office table suitable for business travelers and a comfy sofa to lounge.
My excitement got a notch up by seeing the welcome table and a cute customized message. How cute is that? Hospitality at the best that is what can think.
I had my late lunch on my own expense in my room, it was not included in stay package. The food was delicious in taste and I gobbled it in now time.
I made a short tour to see all the facilities provided by this property, there were pool with a pool bar which you can access with your room key, gym and a treatment room. I was not aware that with a suite you can have a access to the Gazebo cafe at the ground floor where you can relish tea with a quick bite. If I had known about it before I would have definitely covered it for your guys.
After all the browsing, I hit the bed to get some nap before the arrival of my husband and my real weekend starts. Our dinner was arranged in Roda Grill which is famous for its steaks. If you wanna read about it click HERE.
After a hearty supper at Roda Grill with satisfying appetite we went back to our room and slept like babies on the white plush and comfy bed, unaware of the world around us. Before long, a new day had begun.
At Roda Al Bustan, each room booking comes with complimentary breakfast. We ventured downstairs to the Makan Restaurant, an all day dining restaurant. From Arabic to Indian and Italian to Japanese you can expect only the freshest and most tantalizing displays of food here. I have been here before for a themed night and the experience was top notch, so the elation was obvious and was rest assured am gonna have a filling breakfast with ample variety. Located at the hotel’s lobby level the restaurant is designed around a central buffet and cooking station, you get to see the chefs live cooking skills too, isn’t it amazing?
From fresh fruits to assorted salads, cold cuts to bread station and Arabic choices to international variety is all what you get here. Staff is attentive and keep coming to you again and again if you need anything. My first round selection was fresh breads, egg whites omelette, Arabic pizza and some fresh fruits, then I ended up most important meal of the day with fresh made waffles drenched with classic maple sauce. I know you must be craving for it now after reading all this ;). So, What are you waiting for? This place is worth a try.
The hotel let us to check out a bit late from the standard time. After Friday’s Prayers I packed our bags and left the hotel with heavy heart as I didn’t want to end this lovely staycation.
