Roda Grill is a one of the collection of restaurant of Roda Al Bustan. It wouldn’t be wrong to cater it in fine dining category. One of the best place to have magical steaks and other delectable items like fish, salmons etc.
This place is ideal for celebrating special events, the interiors and dim lights instantly changes your mood to happy and relax mode. If you are meat lover then this place is definitely a must try!
I got to try this restaurant while my stay at Roda Al Bustan, Was there for a dinner with my husband on weekend. We both were welcomed warmly by the staff and ushered to our reserved table. The open kitchen let you see the inside hustle and bustle and its also entertaining to watch while you wait for your order.
What we ordered here?
- Home Smoked Salmon
- Jacks Creek Australian Wagyu Eye Tajima
- Roda Salad
- Garlic and Herb Butter Snails
- Beef Tartare
- Chocolate Souffle’
Our session started with a fresh baked bread, it was delightful to see three flavors in one bread cheese, original and brown bread. We munch on it with the different butter that came along with it. What a lovely start of our supper.
In Starters we got to try Beef Tartare, all the ingredients were brought to our table on a trolley and assembled in front of us, it had freshly minced beef tenderloin served with array of ingredients like capers, chives, shallot, crispy quail eggs etc. I am not a fan of raw things so I preferred not to try it.
Garlic and Herbs Butter Snail, that was something I tried on chef’s recommendation. It was my first time but chef made it quite delicious, so now I can say I know how cooked snails taste like.
Salmon is one of my favorite and I never forget to order, if the place is good and yes I didn’t regret my decision. It was well cooked, soft and taste as it should be.
Jack Creek Wagyu was my hubby’s choice as he has a carnivorous diet, steaks here aint for faint heart. They are expert in cooking up delicious steaks in town, try out you will know what I mean.
Roda salad was fresh and accompanied well with both the main dishes. The salad was a melody of roca, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, avocado, black quinoa in balsamic dressing, in short a healthy dose to your palates.
Now, move to the best part of any culinary experience that is dessert. I say it loud yes!!! loud don’t forget to try chocolate souffle’ here and you will be floating on the clouds. I have never tried such delicious souffle’ anywhere. No wonder, I will go back again for this toothsome dessert. I am still having a taste of it while writing this blog it was so decadent and rich.
The other dessert we tried was chocolate balls covered in white and dark chocolate.
We ended our session on a cup of green tea to digest and make some space to move and happily make our way to room.
I would definitely recommend this place for steaks and yes chocolate souffle’. Not even the food but the courteous staff look after you so well, to make your experience worth visit.
Thank you chef and the whole team for a fabulous experience 🙂
