Friday calls for hearty breakfast or brunches. I love the idea how popular it is among the humans of Dubai. People like to have long sessions of feast specially if there is any good deal. Last week I was invited to try long’s bar Friday brunch in Rotana Towers. It was my first time there, easily located on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The whole place was buzzing with people that shows that this place is already famous among people. Even we waited for 10 mins to get the table over there after sometime we were ushered to our table and started our culinary session by ordering fresh juices.
After browsing all the buffet we started making our plate from salads to cold cuts to tantalizing main course to delectable desserts. Although I won’t say it was a huge spread but even being limited they have good options to choose from.
Salads were fresh and calories conscious would be delighted to see the choices, main course had fish, steamed rice, prawns curry, chicken casiatorie, beef kalbi, steamed veggies and you would even find dimsum there.
If you are Muslim you need to be careful as there is pork on the menu. Being a Muslim we limited ourselves to the fresh juices only.
There was a counter of assorted breads to accompany the mains. The staff was on toes to cater everyone. In Desserts there were chocolate fondant with marshmallows and fruits cuts. Not to forget to try puddings and pastries. Fresh waffle was being made on your request which you can relish with chocolate, vanilla and blueberry sauce. I was so tempted to try and couldn’t control on my diet and had a whole waffle for myself (RIP diet).
If you are someone who likes to explore brunches at different place, try it out as they have some deals to avail.
Brunch rates start from AED 165* per person inclusive of soft drinks.
