I have been to Ras Al khaimah last weekend for a staycation in one of the collection of hotels of Bin Majid.

My Experience:
It was my first time to travel all the way from Dubai to Ras Al khaimah all alone in last thursday, since it was a working day and my was supposed to join me in evening after work. It took me like 1 hour to reach and GPS was my friend all the way to the hotel Acacia. This modern 4 star hotel is tucked away few minutes from the coast and right alongside the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone.
Upon entering to the hotel, the lobby instantly catch your attention although its not huge but hanging chandelier and a huge flower vase adore the whole place in a chic style. The check-in was as smooth as butter but no one was there to accompany me to my room so I had to drag my luggage myself, no worries I had just one bag pack with me.
My room was at 9th floor, it was junior suit comprised of two room. One being a reception area and the other had comfy crisp white bed plus a study suitable for corporate travelers. Both the room were equipped with LCD to keep you entertained. After keeping my stuff in the wardrobe which you see right after entering in the room, I lounged on the sofa and plan for the rest of the day. The bathroom was clean and loaded with toiletries of your personal convenience.
After browsing everything in my room, I made my move to their Garden Brew Cafe for late lunch and had delicious grilled salmon. The best part about this cafe apart from service and food quality, they are accommodating in customizing food other than the menu. Isn’t it amazing and its rare to see in hotels as they prefer to just follow their menu.I went back and took a quick beauty nap to reset my senses for the date dinner with my husband.
Our dinner was arranged in the other property of Bin Majid in Pebbles at The Beach Hotel. To know about my experience there click at Pebbles. We returned home with happy tummy and slept on the spacious bed like babies.
After a deep sleep we ushered to the ground level for our breakfast in Al Nakhla right opposite to the Garden Brew Cafe. I could see happy face there with families, coming to indulge in breakfast buffet. From customized eggs to assorted breads, international variety to Arabic spread, there is something for everyone to have a filling breakfast.
You can find many other amenities in this property like Jacuzzi, gym and spa with one Japanese restaurant at the basement level. I was there for one night stay so couldn’t avail the opportunity to try these facilities but there is always the next time. The pool side is under renovation at the moment but am sure once its complete it would be a good place to sit and splash up some fun in the swimming pool.
The hotel was courteous enough to let us check out late, after Friday’s prayers we took our lunch again in Garden Brew Cafe and made our way happily to Dubai after relaxing stay in Acacia.
