I recently tried pebbles while on my staycation in Ras Al Khaimah. This place is tucked away in Beach Hotel, another property in the collection of hotels of Bin Majid. A chilling place to be specially with friends. Its a Pub actually where you can have drinks and savor some food from their limited but filling menu.
I don’t drink so I will concentrate to review about their food. The place was buzzing with people at the weekend that shows its already famous among Ras Al Khaimah Humans. Some were busy in playing billboards at the one end of the restaurant. The whole place was throbbing with loud music and dim lights was giving it a impression of night club.
My husband and I sat down at one of the table and and browse through the menu in order to make our mind for weekend supper. What we chose?
- Green Salad
- Fish and Chips
- Lemon and Garlic Chicken
We started our date supper with fresh orange juice and Green Salad which had romaine lettuce, green apples, green bell peppers drizzled with sour cream dressing. My husband was hungry, couldn’t resist and start eating without letting me taking proper picture of it. For me this salad was average nothing special about it.
My choice was fish and chips, deep fried golden hammour in a homemade batter served with tarter sauce and stout ketchup. Make sure if you don’t consume alcohol mention them before placing an order as originally this fish is coated with alcohol based batter but the staff was accommodating and made us comfortable by making it in alcohol less batter and served it hot with fries. I devoured it no time 😉
Moving on to the Lemon and Garlic Chicken, marinated in garlic and lemon sauce, was light and grilled to perfection. It was came along with a basil cream sauce, potatoes and veggies. A complete wholesome dish, even a person on diet can enjoy it thoroughly without compromising on taste.
In short both the dishes we tried came out well in taste and presentation. The prices are reasonable, so you can relish some good international cuisine in Ras Al Khaimah hotel without burning a hole in your pocket.
