Lets be honest, dining out and trying new places is something everyone likes to do,isn’t it? With so many proliferating dining options and mouthwatering food around its really difficult to strike a balance between eating out and clean eating but yes, I have got an exciting place to recommend and its name is Nourish.
Located at Dar Al Wasl in Jumeirah, Nourish is more than just a restaurant; it’s a lifestyle movement, specialty coffee and juice bar, headed by South African Chef Julie Watson.
Opened in 2017, Nourish is the brainchild of two Emirati cousins, born and raised in this very community. Their vision for Nourish is to be the first holistic ‘clean eating concept’, where natural food tastes really good.
Nourish prides itself on being transparent, hands on, educated and most of all passionate about what we serve.
This place is definitely instagrammable. Wooden decor, marble tops and a hint of greenery here and there leaves you with warm and calm feel. They have a simple and clean approach in their food that reflects in the whole ambiance as well. The open kitchen counter where you can see brewing cups of coffee, instills the wish of having a book, freshly brewed coffee and a quite Me time there.
The staff here is very friendly, welcome you with a big smile and check you again and again to make sure everything goes smoothly. Being a big foodies who likes to dig in cheesy stuff, douse my teeth in heavy marinated ribs and take big bites of fat burgers, trying out homemade and natural ingredients always leaves you skeptical about the taste.
They offer amazing coffee and beverages like detox water, infused tea etc.
Let me assure you this place is totally game changer, you would fall in love with clean eating. Everything I tried here was not only loaded with healthy notes but a blend of delightful taste too. So, its amazing to see how ingeniously they have rolled out the health oriented recipes without lacking the taste. Bravo!!!!
What I ordered there?
In snacks we tried
- Whole corn
- Chicken Dumplings
- Signature sharing plate
- Braised Lamb Shoulder
- Grilled Salmon Fish
- Waffles with mango puree
This place is one of those rare places, where I couldn’t point out one dish which didn’t impress me. From light snacks to indulging mains, Beverages to desserts everything was so good in taste and didn’t feel heavy on stomach.
Prices are bit high but yes the ingredients and quality they are providing justifies everything. I would definitely recommend this place , if you are calories conscious or a big foodie who believes healthy food can’t be fun to eat, try out this place once. It would definitely not only change your thinking but please your palates too.
