The Bagel Bar Coffee House

Coffee houses are the most visited place here in Dubai. Good coffee and food on the go places seem quite popular among working professionals. Many people due to busy life doesn’t get time for proper and healthy food options so this bagel bar comes up in response to a growing demand by working professionals for a healthier option to the standard sandwich, whilst incorporating a more international taste to the range of fillings and sauces used in creating unique signature bagel sandwiches.

I got to try this place yesterday. This place is more like a casual coffee meet up place situated in the middle of newly opened dragon mart 2. The basic concept of The Bagel Bar Coffee House is to offer a more sophisticated coffee/sandwich alternative, where people can enjoy good quality food in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

What we ordered here?

• Cajun Bagel Sandwich
• Mexicana Bagel Sandwich
• Chicken Tikka Bagel Sandwich
• Ceaser Salad
• Waffles
• Cream Cheese Bagel Schmears

Cajun had a filling of chicken, jalapenos, red onions and mayo where as Mexicana had taco chicken with jalapenos, tomatoes and lettuce and Chicken Tikka one had chicken pieces marinated in mild spices. All the bagel sandwiches were filling but I found bagel quite dry to my liking, it was difficult to take a bite but thanks to the filling inside which helped us to enjoy the sandwiches. My favorite one was Mexicana.

Ceaser Salad had fresh veggies but the mayo sauce that was included had too much salt due to which I couldn’t enjoy it that much but the cream cheese bagel schmears was perfect to have it with a hot cup of coffee and I relished it completely with my vanilla latte.

Waffles were the best part of our experience here. It was soft and had balanced sweet taste which went very well with a scoop of vanilla icecream. It was finished in no time from our table.

The whole experience was a combo of hits n misses but no doubt this place has amazing coffee variety with some delectable bite size to go perfectly with your cuppa. Check them out and let me know what you think about this place.
