Another day another Iftar and this time I was heading to Hawthron Hotel & Suites by Wyndham located in the heart of JBR. Iftar event was in flavors restaurant located at Plaza level and its a All Day dining Restaurant. You can enjoy iftar here for only AED 99 per person, featuring traditional and classic iftar favorites from sunset to 10.30 pm daily.

What to expect here in iftar?
To celebrate the occasion, the spread features a selection of dates, and Ramadan juices like kamaruddin, rooh afza, and jallab. For Suhoor, guests have options between a Suhoor buffet at Flavours, or an a la carte meal via room service.
Here in this media event everyone seemed busy indulging themselves in scrumptious available spread. Being a blogger I have been to many Ramadan Events and Buffet, what really matters to me is the taste as compared to the variety of spread. Here in flavors the mains were limited but who cares if you get to eat flavorful food.

- Cream of Vegetable Soup
In drinks traditional options were there to quench you thirst but the new thing was detox water which you don’t find it easily in every buffet.
In starters there was cheese samosa, vegetable spring rolls and kibeh . Being a spring roll lover I didn’t leave my chance to treat my palates with crispy little bites although in the first round they couldn’t impress me as they were not fresh but the second batch made up everything right!.
There was a decent variety of salad and assorted breads were available to accompany the mains. My favorites from the evening are chicken biryani, grilled fish was soft and flavorful in taste where as the live section of BBQ was available in the open area of the restaurant.
The best part of any buffet is a dessert counter and here again it was no less than a visual treat, an array of assortment for your sweet fix were spread out on the counter. What I enjoyed the most were Um Ali and Cheesecake in vibrant yellow color but if you are calories conscious, worry not you would get fresh fruit cuts, display beautifully on the counter.
Tea, coffee and green tea are all included in this buffet price and I believe its a steal deal totally. If you are a looking for an iftar in a relax environment of hotel then this options is certainly for you.
