Another day another iftar preview and this time it was at the newly launched restaurant in Jumeirah serving authentic Italian and Indian cuisine.
About Vintage Room:
This new baby has shown up in the ever-growing market of Dubai. The name being vintage doesn’t mean you will get to see vintage or rustic interior, on the contrary you will witness some grand golden accents hanging from the wall giving a personal touch to each table. I felt like entering in a space inspired by Raja Maharaja grandeur setting.
What you will get in the menu?
They have a set menu which is obvious an appreciative matter and discourage food wastage.
We broke our iftar with dates, fruits and fresh water melon juice.
The menu offers you delicious Hara Bhara, Lamb Seekh Kaba and Cheese Fatayer as starters. Both the kabab were soft and good in taste.
Moving on to the mains Biryani, Bhuna Gosht and vegetable lasagna were the items included. Biryani had mild spices the way I like and chicken pieces were fully infused with taste. Bhuna Gosht was flavorful and the meat was fork tender, the two types of bread were served to accompany the gravy but I preferred to eat it with spoon where as veg lasagna is a good options for vegetarian soul.
We ended our culinary journey with Shahi Kheer and Ras Malai. Ras Malai had traces of saffron and kheer was beautifully cooked with balance level of sugar.
Its not possible being in an Indo Pak restaurant and you don’t try their Karak Tea. We ordered tea with milk and love the fact that it had soothing ginger taste which instantly boost our drained energy.
Apart from this set menu I ordered one more starter from their regular menu and they were as soft as cloud fish pieces.
You can enjoy all the above menu only in 85 per head including dates, fruits and juice.
