Barilla is not a new name in the market, if you are a fan of Italian food then you must have used this brand at some point of your life. Being a Italian food lover I have been a fan of this brand as you get assorted variety with a assurance of quality.
I didn’t know the existence of their restaurant until I got an invite from them. Excitement to try their newly found place in the bloggers event. They have two branches and we all were invited to the Dubai Festival City. The ambiance is bright and welcomes you warmly with wooden setup through out the restaurant. You can see some live action from their open kitchen while waiting for your food or browse through their display of products.
What we got to try?
Starting from starters we got to try Bruschetta, Tomato Pesto bread, Rosemary bread and Caprese. Tomato Pesto bread and Burschetta were my favorites from the list both were fresh and had authentic Italian flavors which made them perfect way to start our evening of Italian fare.
From salads I tried pollo ceasare aka chicken ceaser salad, fresh romaine lettuce with ceasar dressing and soft chicken pieces served with parmigiano. I filled half of appetite with this amazing salad.
For the mains the chef made live in front of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed this live session of cooking and got to know some tips and tricks during the session. The chef made mushroom risotto, tortelini alfredo and tricoloure from the pizza section. Pasta was not al dente to my liking but the taste was good where as the tricoloure pasta seemed to be liked by everyone and mushroom rissoto was creamy and I had many spoons of it which totally filled me upto the brim.
No doubt this place is totally recommendable for Italian food lovers, here you get variety with taste and quality.
