Billo icecream a quirky name with a creative interiors inspired by Pakistan’s truck art. I got a chance to try their oud metha branch which is easy to find and attracts your attention with colorful name board.
Its more than a icecream parlour where you can relish sandwiches, rolls, chaat and pani puri. So, you can have a street food delights in a cozy colorful ambiance with a treat of freezing sweet icecream and falooda.
Its a bijou place and can accommodate only 6 ppl which is unfair for the fans of billo. They serve amazing Bun Kababs my favourte is original Daal Bun Kaba, light and full bang on taste and the taste of it takes me back to the streets of my Karachi. Worth trying.
The Channa Papri is something not to be missed here,it had crunchy papdri, channa and all those ingredients which will surely tantalized your taste buds,if you are chaat lover like me,trying not this would be crime 😀
Dahi Baray was another hit on our table,my husband likes to eat sweet version and it was exactly to his liking.
In burger our choice was crunchy burger,it had chicken fillet with mayo, lettuce and chili garlic sauce.
In Dessert for which they are famous for we tried Punjabi Falooda, our platter was decorated with pieces of icecream, falooda sev, rabri and red syrup topped with nuts.It was filling yet toothsome in taste. I would say its a best place for falooda in Dubai.
I have only one suggestion is to have a bigger space for families and groups and yes tea was missing from the menu, which I would definitely like to see in future other than that I totally enjoyed my experience at Billo and no wonder am going back for burgers and chaat to this place.
Delightful taste and pocket friendly place 🙂
