Who doesn’t like icecream? and I am no exception. Last week I got a chance to try out this place in Dubai Mall which is located at the center of lower ground level. In the striking combo of purple and white this inviting place was unnoticed by me until I get an invite from them.
The Morelli family has been producing gelato since 1907 and is now a 5th generation family business,expanding steadily around the globe. They believe to make fresh batches daily for consumption and they are proud to have a milk based product that is low in fat compared to regular icecream.
I got to try Waffles,Berry Pavlova Sundae and Soft Vanilla Affogato.
Waffles– This inhouse made waffles served with soft vanilla gelato,chocolate sauce and fresh fruits like strawberry and banana. I am waffles buff, so you can imagine my excitement,I waited no further and readily rushed to take first bite of fresh looking waffles,at first it felt dry but when I try my luck to have it with soft,creamy scoop of vanilla icecream it worked like a charm. I was unable to stop myself from having scoop one after the other.
Berry Pavlova Sundae– Is a melody of wildberry sorbet,strawberry,yogurt and soft vanilla gelato served with raspberry coulis,meringues drizzled with lip-smacking magnum chocolate,decorated with seasonal berries and fresh whipped cream. They have this same Sundae in chocolate flavor as well.
Soft Vanilla Affogato-This espresso is a cold version of coffee came with a swirl of soft vanilla gelato.
They have quite a good variety of flavors and the serving size is huge,which will leave you completely satisfied. Soon they are going in a renovation process and am looking forward to see some new and exciting changes in interiors and menu too.
