Wrapchic- Exciting fusion of indian and mexican food brought in Dubai all the way from UK. Founder  Mahesh Raiker quit his job in order to purse his passion to develop what is know as WRAPCHIC. With the vision to make it a leading name in the burritos league, they rolled out their first stall in 2012 in Birmingham City Center.

Their perspective to offer fresh, healthy and tasty indian taste in mexican style make them to stand out among many others eateries. Recently I visited their first venture in Dubai tucked away in food court of Burjuman Center. You would easily find this kiosk counter because of their vibrant monochrome theme and black bull logo.

The concept is simple you have to choose style first and then filling. They have all indian fillings which they serve you in mexican style, isn’t interesting?

I was there with my other fellow blogger to relish this experience. What we ordered

  • Wrapchos- Chole Masala
  • Wraposa – Bombay Aloo/Nutella
  • Quesadilla – Mutton Madrasi
  • Burrito – Chicken Mughlai
  • Wrap – Chicken Tikka
  • Coconut/Mango lassi and Jarritos

Wrapchos- A toasted sandwich with the filling of desi style seasoned aloo, brought back to my childhood days when I used to get this sort of sandwich for my lunch. It was light and I wish I could have it with a hot cup of tea. Unfortunately wrapchic don’t serve any hot drinks. We also got to try the same in nutella filling too which I think kids would totally enjoy as a go to snack.

Wrapchos- Being a nachos lovers I was excited to try them with chole masala and I didn’t regretted at all trying mexican chips with desi masla, served along with sour cream and jalapenos. Would def try this combo while watching my next movie.

Quesadilla- Another twist with mutton madrasi filling, exciting combination of mutton and cheese made  it soOo delicious but make sure to eat it warm otherwise it would feel a bit rubbery because of cheese.

Burritos and Warp- We had both in tortilla wraps, burrito one was filled with chicken mughlai, rice, kidneybeans and fresh veggies. It was filling and one is enough for a hungry person whereas the wrap had chicken tikka filling which I enjoyed more.

They have interesting options in drinks too, we tried coconut lassi which was new for me and would totally recommend it to everyone, mango lassi was normal and mexican jarritos were there too to accompany your food.

Try out this newly opened joint while shopping in burjuman, wouldn’t be heavy on your pocket and will surely fills you up with unique combo and taste. The only suggestion I have for them to add Chai/ Coffee in their menu.
