Fancy seafood? looking for a lavish buffet with taste? Look no further and make your way to this all day dining restaurant bayty, nestled at level 3 in the Warwick Hotel-Sheik Zayed Road. This restaurant offers different theme nights and I got the chance to try its seafood night aptly named ” Jewels of the ocean”. Taste the freshest crabs, oysters, tiger shrimps and other treasures of the sea at this seafood buffet dinner.
Warm lights,comfy sitting arrangement and soft music entice you to dig in to the lavish spread comprising of salads, raw seafood items, bread station, main dishes includes live station and some non-seafood items and desserts.
Live station was bustling with fresh grilled fishes,calamari,oysters and prawns. Fish was succulent and soft. Soup I tried was chowder soup, creamy and satisfying for such weather of Dubai these days.There were some sauteed veggies, noodles, Chinese curries and white rice to accompany them.On Salad station there were all sort of fresh veggies and seafood salads with sauces and dips.
Bread station is the one which is mostly ignored in every buffet. Some times because of the not so fresh bread or stale taste but over here it was other way around, I can’t express how much I pleased by this counter. Each of the variety was worth trying, don’t forget to savor this section. The chef specially offered me assorted Italian breads from the counter and I didn’t regret, infact I would have regretted if I missed them to try.
In desserts,like every buffet it was a lavish affair. From creme burlee to cake, from mousses to tarts everything seemed so tempting but I preferred to rush towards the chocolate fountain where I relish it with marshmallows, fresh fruits and jellies.
We ended our culinary journey with green tea and enjoyed last few moments there. The staff is vigilant and chef kader has curated the spread well and I definitely want to try the other surf n turf theme night. Let me aware you, if you are a not a fan of seafood then there are not much options to fill your tummy at this theme night.
