I have been living in sharjah for the last 1 year and during this time period many food joints have been proliferating on university road hence, leaves you to visit this area again and again.
Astoria Burger as name suggest is a burger joint with a limited menu but with great taste and presentation. Interior wise this place is no short of contemporary upscale cafe. Boasting spacious space for sitting let you to sink in the luxury of dine in laid back style.
From their concise mindful menu we opted for
- Astoria Burger
- Chicken BBQ Burger
- Astoria Fries
- Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
- Drinks( Astoria Classic and Strawberry Gum)
Astoria Burger– Beef patty perfectly grilled retaining juices, souse in beef sauce sandwich between melted cheese, lettuce and tomato served in butter bun. Carnivores definitely like this version of burger.
Chicken BBQ Burger- Chicken crispy patty with cheese and chicken souse, will surely leave you satisfied
Astoria Fries– They are not the normal fries, loaded version of fries with cheese and jalapenos. Not to forget eat them right away after serving otherwise you won’t enjoy that much.
Mozzarella Cheese Sticks- Who doesn’t like cheese? I can anything and everything which has cheese. So, no wonder I found cheese sticks lip smacking.
In drinks we had Astoria Classic a lemonade version and other was Strawberry Gum (pleasable for gummy berry lovers),both were refreshing and served in tall glasses.
Overall, its a good place for burger buff, you won’t find much variety but this place won’t disappoint you with taste and quality.
I think you need to revisit the place again and I am sure you will revisit your review accordingly.
I was there yesterday and the experience was really disappointing.
Very expensive compared to quality, cooking smell fills the place, very hot ambient in the dine-in area. If I would spend 40 AED for half a meal in that place, then I should go to Burger Fuel or Shake Shack for a much better and much much bigger meal.
