Never judge a book by its cover and I believe it religiously. Labenah & Zataar is a bijou eatery place where you can indulge in labnese and italian food,suitable for takeaway and delivery. You can easily located at university road of sharjah,Muwailih behind blood bank.
Only two people can accommodate here,despite being a small place this place boast a huge menu with smiling face and they are passionate to serve you delectable food. Last Friday I went there at lunch time, courteous owner sami was there all the way from ras ul khaimah to meet and greet me.
I preferred to go with the owner suggestion for food. What we ordered are as follows

Chicken Caesar Salad had soft and grilled pieces of chicken strips with other fresh veggies like Romanian lettuce leaves,tomatoes,cucumbers and onion, sprinkled with cheese.
Falafel Pizza – I have tried falafel many times before but having them in pizza was my first time. I was excited to try and it was good to know that they use special Italain pizza dough and cheese in the making of pizza. Taste wise it was good but don’t expect it as juicy as normal pizza we indulge in.
Kabab Kashkash – Fresh Pakistani lamb meat dish,a real treat for meat lovers. The meat was soft and juicy that shows the quality and best thing about is that they use fresh meat every day for consistent taste and freshness.
Chicken Shawerma In Dough – Who doesn’t like to have delectable shawerma? It has chicken pieces,french fries,special in house sauce and picked cucumber.
Kofta Meat In Dough – It was a wrap of chopped meat powered with lettuce,pickled,french fries and mexican sauce made it juicy and flavorful although I am not a meat buff but my husband enjoyed it.
Spicy Crispy Chicken – Small bites of happiness in the form of chicken balls. Fried balls with a kick of spice will surely tantalized your tastebuds. Must try!!!
Apart from food in fresh juices we tried Pineapple Juice and Mix Cocktail. They have good variety of cocktails and juices with some options of icecream for sweet lovers.
Overall, it was fun experience and am definitely going again to try nutella nuts, sweet version of manakish. Yes!!! I would recommend this economical place with good food specially if you are around or any plans to visit sharjah.
