Hilton hotel just meters away from one of the largest shopping malls in the world. Their convenient location allows easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road and the Metro Station; offering fantastic connectivity to all major business districts and leisure attractions. Downtown Dubai and the iconic Burj Khalifa at the Dubai Mall are only a 15 minute drive away.
I was invited to the Garden Grille restaurant,drop by at lunch time. The place was not less than a garden, just a covered one,fresh ambiance decorated with artificial green plants to create a serene feel of a garden. Wall to wall windows was allowing sunlight to break in and brighten up the whole atmosphere. The table arrangement was clean and crisp with green chairs and glasses to match up the garden theme.
Edward supervisor of FnB here welcomed us warmly and ushered us to our table. He gave us a brief details about the place and menu. He even suggested us in ordering our drink which were red berry juice,red berry smootie and arnold palmer ice tea. Red berry juice was refreshing,smoothie reminded me of my childhood candy I used to eat happily where as arnold palmer was not my cup of tea. If you are a ice tea buff, you are gonna like it for sure.
Starting up with the starters we ordered chef’s special asian style Crab Cakes,Cold Mezze and Caprese.
Crab Cake-Soft minced crabs coated with crispy crumbs served along with coleslaw and spicy dip. Totally amazing!
Cold Mezze– Tabouleh, Hummus, Moutabel, Fatoush and Warakenab came to us with bread. All were good specially the hummus and moutabel.
Carprese– Buffalo mozzarella,pieces of roma tomatoes, basil, olive oil and balsamic cream. It is made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag.Fresh mozzarella was delectable,simple but incredibly delicious dish.
Moving on to the main dishes we opted for The Mobley Burger, Lamp Chops, Butter Chicken Curry and Pasta Bolognese.
The Mobley Burger– Signature burger that you will find in every Hilton’s menu . Appeared in huge size on our table. The patty sandwich between the ciabatta bun topped with cheddar cheese,lettuce, tomatoes and red onions,came along with hand cut fries. Keep in mind its huge,ask them to cut it half, for feasible handling and feasting. Juicy patty with savor relish of cheese fills you up easily. For me it was not easy to dig in,I tried to eat by squashing it down with hands.
Lamp Chops– Marinated with spice, nut, pumpkin and pomegranate quinoa. My husband liked them although it couldn’t impress me that much.
Butter Chicken Curry- Another signature dish butter chicken,this traditional dish came along with pickles,papad ,biryani rice and parathas. Thick and creamy consistency of this dish will crave you to lick you finger. It was a bit sweet unlike traditional butter chicken. The only lack I found was that the they served market packet parathas which are usually sweet in taste and altered the whole taste instead of balancing the sweet taste due to honey in the curry,preferred to have it with rice biryani.
Pasta Bolognese- Deliciously meaty with a chilli kick.
The Garden Cafe:
To satisfy our sweet cravings we got a chance to relish some sweet items from garden cafe.The Coffee lounge operates 24 Hours and serves coffee, toothsome pastries and tea. I tried Florentine Tart ,Oreo Cheesecake and Tiramisu. Everything was luscious and with a cup of cappuccino it made the whole experience indelible.
Definitely a fresh place for dine in, delectable variety, sophisticated interiors,24 hours pavilion kitchen will surely tempts you to try this place again and again. Next time I am going to try their breakfast menu for sure. Try this place out and let me know your thoughts too.
