Last night I attended blogger’s meetup with lovely fellows at newly opened branch of Tangerine at Burjuman. Its good to see many new options of eatery as you enter without going all the way to the food court at the end of the mall. Tangerine offers Thai and far eat Asia cuisine.
The ambiance depicts the patent colors of red and brown which instantly reckons you that your palates are going to fest on far Asian cuisine. The place is in L shape with open kitchen ,so you can peek in while waiting for your order.
After waiting for everyone we started ordering the food. The menu is vast and took us a bit long to decide what to order. Half of my fellow bloggers opt for veg and rest eagerly waited for non veg spread to dig in.
What we had:
In drinks I opted for Fruit Blast, it was a refreshing concoction of lychee and fresh mint. Loved every bit of it
Our session started with Prawns Cracker. I munch on happily till the main menu arrived. They were fresh and crispy and go along well with any soup.
As weather is changing so soup choices look tempting to me and I excitedly ordered Tom Yum Kung with prawns but unfortunately all my exhilaration came down with the first sip of it. I love prawns but they taste off, soup felt like raw and I couldn’t take another sip of it but those ordered with chicken had no issue, so better not to try with prawns.
Chicken satay were soft and mild in taste and I totally relish them with peanut butter sauce.
Those cute little money bags had prawns stuffing, were delectable and crispy from outside
Szechuan Chicken stir fried wok chicken was way yellower in color and was missing the obvious flavor of chilli and garlic oil however, it was good if I ignore the fact it was lacking the color of usual szechuan.
From noodles section we tried A- MIE GORENG Indonesian stir fried noodles with chicken, bean sprout and egg infused with sambal sauce. A tasteful dish it was.
We also tried Szechuan Fish I enjoyed it every bit with the chilli sauce came along.
Prawns Tempura don’t forget to try this dish, its not to be missed, perfectly crispy and delectable I could keep on eating, the best part was that they weren’t oily at all.
In dessert I ordered brownie with icecream, match made in heaven. Warm brownies with a scoop of icecream can make anybody’s day without a question.
Over all it was a fun experience with friends and good food, try this place and let me know below in comments how was your experience?
