Thai cuisine is famous for its creamy curries, wok stir noodles and other classic dishes that combine the hot, sour, sweet and salty flavors. If you like to try out different cuisine then fuchsia is one of the must try option in town for southeast Asian food. After getting a great response in barsha heights, they opened their second chic branch in the newest hub of eatery business bay few months back. Fuchsia being a family business of duo father and daughter from Pakistan is famous not only in #mydubai but in #karachi too for its authentic flavors and fresh food. The dishes are reasonably priced and they can even turn your favorites into calorie and spice friendly. You can even ask for gluten free.
Last week I got to try their newly launched branch in business bay located at Plaza level, building 04. Spacious restaurant with chic interiors and inviting atmosphere. I was surprised to see detox water for free for every customer, not only refreshing but a healthy initiative as well.
My hubby and I after going through the menu started off with drinks.I opted for Thailand Coconut and it instantly awake my memories of my Thailand trip. Its something not to be missed. Refreshing taste of fresh coconut will leave you craving for more.
The other drink that my partner tried was Thai Iced Tea .This freshly brewed tea spiced with different ingredients and sweetened with sugar is one of the staple in Thai restaurants menu.
After reviving our quench senses we moved to the starters. Even the staff over there helped me to order some of their best, we ordered
- Spring rolls
- Prawns Tempura
- BBQ Chicken Bun
- Garlic with beef
- Chicken Satay
Spring Rolls filled with chicken and glass noodles were crispy and light in taste, perfect to kick start our lunch although we wanted to try soup since we were there at lunch time and due to weather we skipped it but if for soup lover do try their Tom Yum.
Prawns Tempura, being an ardent fan of prawns how it was possible not to try prawns.Crispy golden ultra-light batter prawns seemed so tempted that we without delaying they were devoured delightfully .
From Dim Sum section we overlooked the usual contender and chose BBQ Chicken Buns. Small soft round shaped buns filled with well marinated BBQ chicken in shape of dim sum, soft pillow exterior although I felt that the filling could have been more juicy to keep away the buns dry from inside.
Chicken Satay grilled chicken skewers marinated with spices and served with sauce made with peanut butter.Any range of spice lovers will equally love it.Try it out to believe it.
Now,its time for the mains, although we were full by this time but we were advised to try their signature Short Ribs Masaman Curry and other dish we went for was Pad Thai Noodles . Short Ribs Curry was delightfully tasted different to my palate, it had chunks of potatoes too and the ribs were like pieces of pushy pillow, truly melt in the mouth. If you don’t mind sweet and savory taste,it will surely please you.
Pad Thai Noodles another comforting dish which reminds you Bangkok street food presented in full glory with fresh saute veggies, garlic, egg and ground peanuts.
To end our authentic Thai culinary journey on a sweet note without leaving Dubai we tried Banana Fritters.Crispy fritters filled with ripe banana was sweet yet creamy but a bit heavy at the same time. We could only try 1 or 2 for our sweet fix.
The words come to mind with the Thai food, intricacy; attention to detail; texture; color; taste and good flavor, are all you can expect from Fuchsia. This place is perfect for lunches and Business meetups and in evening sets the romantic mood with lights and dark aura of the ambiance. Its definitely a place for your Thai food fix.
