I always fancy all day breakfast concept and on hunt to find good options for my followers and blog.Clinton was one of the places I always wanted to try, being a fan of American style breakfast who wouldn’t love to try it. So if you are wondering where to go next weekend? problem sorted!!! 🙂

It all started when chef-husband & wife, Neil Kleinberg and DeDe Lahman, opened a bakery in 2001, their only mission was to make the best baked goods in the city, hand-mixed in small batches. But soon the locals stumbled in, and murmurs of Neil’s simple yet delicious omelets, sandwiches and soups moved people to cluster, then crowd, then block.

It boasts long wait lines as early as 8.30am on weekends. I got a chance to try it on friday morning. At first it seems quite from outside but it was silence before the storm, the moment my husband and I entered, restaurant got us surprised beaming with people, fully packed, noise and  delicious smell of goodies baking in the oven.We waited near narrow bar with stools (all taken of course),perfect for quick bites but soon we were ushered to our table(perks  of being a blogger) otherwise we would have waited for long.Try to sit near the main entrance to get a lovely view of Burj Khalifa.I was lucky enough to have scrumptious breakfast with a fascinating view.

Loaded Idaho Potato Skin: I can eat potatoes in any form. These imported potatoes from Idaho loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, scallion and jalapeno sour cream were finger licking.

In drinks we tried

  • Salted Caramel MilkShake
  • Classic Extra Milk Chocolate

Both were thick and creamy the way milkshake supposed to be but I found them extra sweet for my liking.

In main we opted for

  • Clinton street cheese burger
  • Salmon Burger
  • Short Rib Benedict

Now its time to try their mains although we were full to the brim and was pondering how to finish these portion of serving.I have to say that despite the staff being understandably stressed out and overwhelmed, service is consistent and offered with a smile throughout our visit.

Clinton street cheese burger: Angus beef patty blended with in-house aromatic spices, charcoal grilled to perfection served on house baked soft buns with caramelized sweet onions and cheddar cheese along with houseslaw and a sour pickle. Addition of bacon is upon your choice .Serving is perfect to satisfy a ravenous tummy.

Salmon Burger: A seafood varitey in which wild Norwegian salmon is used with avocado, sliced tomato, arugula aka salad rocket and lemon pepper mayo served along with houseslaw and pickle. As a side you can choose from hand cut fires, sweet potato, onion rings or dressed greens. Again a very filling platter of burger but it couldn’t impress me that much. Patty had a taste of rawness or maybe it was me.

Short Rib Benedict: 15 hours shredded smoked beef rib served with steamed spinach, poached egg topped with chipotle hollandise sauce over the bed of toasted buttermilk biscuit. I relished it completely.

We were asked to try something in dessert,O man!!!! things were going crazy at first we rejected the idea of trying anything more but the idea of pancakes and waffles made me to think twice and I accepted the plan with dubious affirmation of filling up myself over the top.

Rather than trying any dessert from the menu I opted for waffle and blueberry pancakes. Both were amazing and delightful in taste.

If you like American breakfast or hunting any good eatery option I would highly recommend Clinton Street Baking Company for sure coz of its high quality ingredients, and their sumptuous breakfast options.I am definitely going again to try waffle with chicken(award winning recipe) and other succulent items from the menu.
