Kempinski Hotel:
Kempinski is one of the congenial reasons I travel towards northern emirates.The hospitality,diverse restaurants,ambiance and fascinating private beach make Kempinski one of the top hotels in Ajman. My first visit to this grandeur establishment was for its Iftar tent with the sea-view and it instantly stole my heart. The private beach and all the scenic view transported me to my memories of Phuket (Thailand) who is famous for its clean water and white sand.
Kempinski The Spa:
Is is easily located as its near to the main entrance of the hotel. This Spa is the ultimate destination to luxuriate, relax and rejuvenate. Each experience has been carefully crafted and exclusively developed using the world’s most luxurious products to leave you utterly pampered.
Its a perfect sanctuary for guests to indulge in an extensive menu of pampering treatments – all designed to reinvigorate and restore. From facials to body massages, each treatment uses the latest methods in personal care. Kempinski the spa possess minimal interior with calm environment to help you unwind with the pleasure of treatments,at spacious and warm lit reception I was greeted by the spa manager Malika,she gave me tour of the spa and imparted information regarding the offered facilities. They have four treatment rooms with single bed at the moment and in process of having another room to cater couples . Then there is a lounge room where after getting treatment you can spend some more time to unclench your senses with in house herbal tea. At the end of narrow brightly lid corridor there is sauna/steam bath,lockers and separate men’s and women’s amenities ensure total privacy and discretion. The other side of reception is reserved for meni padi services.
HydraFacial MD:
I was offered hydra facial here,it is advanced customizable medical-grade skin care treatment that targets fine lines and wrinkles,congested, oily, acne prone skin and hyper pigmentation. It minimizes the appearance of large pores, improves skin texture and tone, and helps repair existing sun damage.This facial also includes LED light therapy and recommended for all skin types.
The process:
My therapists wei wei asked me to get changed into spa’s bathrobe.I did it in my treatment room(they have this option as well) and then loosen up my senses on the bed amidst of calm dim lights.Wei wei explained each step side by side the process.This non-invasive treatment had 4 steps and uses different nossels for each step.
- Exfoliation: The key ingredients of this steps are lactic acid,glycolic acid,algae and yeast extract, serum comprises of lactic and glycolic acid deeply cleanses and aids in dislodging dead skin cells for exfoliation. Algae and yeast extract calms and smooth the skin with hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines.
- Acid Peel: Glysel serum a mixture of glycolic and salicylic acid peel thin layer of epidermis through vortex pipe with designated tip to remove impurities and soften sebum.
- Extraction: This step uses another tip for suctioning dirt from pores and calming skin with honey and spirea ulmaria flower extract at the same time.
- Hydration: In this last step of the treatment, skin is treated with a serum full of antioxidant,peptides and hyaluronic in order to penetrates hydration into the skin.
wei wei put another hydrating mask on my face to really sweep in the extra dose of hydration. After all the above steps of treatment no wonder, my skin felt real hydrated,lush,dewy and as a baby skin on touch. That day I avoided to use any makeup as it is recommended after any skin treatment. Next day I could see the difference in my skin texture,it looked supple,firm and my pores seemed visibly reduced.
This luxurious process was of good 60 mins and left me happy and contented with the after effects.I can’t wait to go back and take another session to extent the rejuvenating and exquisite result.
