Being an Italian food lover its always a matter of happiness to come across a good authentic Italian restaurant in town.We usually use to of American style pasta and pizza but after trying this newly opened restaurant at Sky Gardens Tower made me instantly fall in love with the authentic classical version.Tuscany’s food is much like Tuscany’s landscape: clean, sober, and soothingly simple. Building their characteristic dishes on a savvy interplay of cheese, beans,bread, and olive oil. Tuscans are masters at the art of understatement; their favorite aromatics (thyme, rosemary, and oregano) are used judiciously, never squandered.
At DIFC you get a variety of opulent restaurants but Dinamico since it is tucked in an residential building Sky Gardens is struggling to be in the race of famous restaurants in vicinity.Let me assure you,If you fancy eating pasta,pizza without bloating your stomach,look no further, Dinamico got you covered.
Dinamico has modern interiors with laid back inside sitting arrangement with added advantage of being kids friendly space too,whereas the outside sitting area is perfect to have morning brunches and coffee in the cool weather with beautiful downtown view .The staff is friendly and Italy based mostly and ready to help you choose from the menu.Menu features starters,first courses,second courses,signature dishes,drinks and desserts. Our session embarked with the serving of bread pieces with 3 dips Pesto, Asparagus and tomato based.My server amber smiling face in Tuscan accent suggest me to try Burrata and Bruschetta as starters.
Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. At first glance, burrata resembles a ball of mozzarella. But upon further scrutiny,it appears softer, when cut, has an interior that spills out, revealing soft, stringy curd and fresh cream. If you’re a lover of mozzarella, ricotta, or really anything that’s straight-up creamy, definitely try it.
Bruschetta rustic toast with cherry tomatoes,fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil. Think of it as summer on toast! I really liked it and compelled to order again .
In first course we ordered Ravioli Burro e Salvia,ravioli stuffed with spinach ricotta, the generous staff served us two versions of it, original and the other with tomato based sauce. Ravioli was like a stuffed pasta filled with ricotta and spinach, served in a butter sage.My husband and I happily devoured the tomato based version of ravioli.
The other dish hit our table was tagliata,thick piece of grilled beef cut into pieces infused with the creamy sauce and porcini mushrooms.It was simple and delicious but impressive nonetheless.Steak/tagliata is a tricky food but I really liked how perfectly the chef seared it and dressed in earthy mushroom sauce.
Over here our normal pizza is pinsa,made with wheat flour that too in low ratio. It is low fat,low calories and the best part is easy to digest- All GMO free.Its long and oval shaped pizza unlike our familiar shaped pizza. Our Capriccios pizza had tomatoes,mushroom,mozzarella and bacon. We were well stuffed till now that we ended up only with 2 slices.It was certainly light than usual pizza without undermining the taste.
The mocktails we enjoyed with our courses were Red Fruit and Mix Juice.Red fruit was refreshing and the concoction of blueberries, orange juice, cherry juice and strawberry salad had right kind of punch of sweetness.
Lastly, we signed off our tasting session on the happy note of desserts. Obviously being in an Italian restaurant how could I possibly not order Tiramisu. This coffee-taste dessert with layers of delish creamy mascarpone cheese sprinkled with coffee was heaven and delightfully filled my sweet tooth craving. The other dessert was vanilla custard tart unfortunately failed to impress my palate.
Dinamico should keep a tag We Keep it simple, but make it special. Now I know where to head for authentic Italian cuisine and would definitely recommend to all my followers.
