Last Friday my husband and I decided to try this place at out metha opposite to Lamcy plaza.
Its a small cafe,well decorated,depicting right concept of its name The Egg Cafe :). You can see the chef making food from a transparent cabin. Even the main table have egg shaped chairs which was elevating the overall looks of the cafe.
Their whole menu has one main ingredient that is EGG. We ordered
- EXPLOSIVE OMELE
- THE YELLO BREAKFAST
- YELLOW FRENCH TOAST
From there all day breakfast options we ordered the above stated combos.
Explosive omelet: Omelet with tomato,cilantro,green chilies,onion and ginger . You have option to take it with bread (white or brown) or fries
The yellow breakfast: 2 eggs of you choice,beans,saute mushrooms,hash brown potato,sausages,2 toast came with butter and jam, juice and tea
Yello french toast: HongKong style french toast with filling of you choice and juice of the day
Well the explosive omelet was good in serving size I think 2 ppl can easily share it. It was like a same omelet like we make at home nothing out of extra. Come to yello breakfast platter which my husband ordered. 2 eggs of you choice their were baked beans sausages were well cooked and yes hash browns were amazing. The platter is a good combo for a single person highly recommendable. Yellow french toast which we wanted to have with peanut butter filling, they were soft but I felt a pinch of salt after taking a first bite,it was very obvious in taste I think we should have ordered it with nutella.
Over all its a good small cosy cafe,quality ingredients in food with a good combos in menu. Worth visiting 🙂
