Tina Marshall, Toll Collector
Tina has always had a deep love for the beach and the outdoors.
When you visit Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, one of the first friendly faces you’re likely to encounter is Tina Marshall. Whether she’s assisting you in the park store with check-ins, bike rentals, or firewood purchases, greeting guests at the front gates with her cheerful hello during events, or tending to the park’s beautiful grounds, Tina’s presence is hard to miss.
Originally from coastal Texas, Tina has always had a deep love for the beach and the outdoors. After moving to Florida, she quickly fell in love with the state’s expansive park system, spending her time hiking trails and fishing in the creeks, rivers, and lakes of North Florida. Two years ago, she joined the Florida Park Service as a park store employee, bringing her enthusiasm and knowledge to Stephen Foster Park.
Tina is your go-to person for advice on exploring the park’s trails and those of nearby Big and Little Shoals. She’s an avid angler on the Suwannee River and she knows the best spots to catch a glimpse of the bats at dusk. With her keen eye on everything happening in the park, she’s always eager to share her insights.
For Tina, working at a Florida State Park is the best job in the world, and her passion shines through in every interaction with visitors. If you haven’t met her yet, make sure to stop by the park store and say hello!
