Discover the endless adventures waiting for you at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park! Spanning over 800 acres, the park offers a wide range of activities, from hiking, biking and horseback riding to camping, canoeing and shopping. Our extensive trail system includes sections of the renowned Florida Trail, perfect for hiking, biking, or riding.

As you explore the park, especially during the warmer months, remember to stay hydrated and wear appropriate footwear for your safety.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of family-friendly events. Don't miss the Stephen Foster Museum, open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring a diverse collection of interpretive exhibits, artifacts and moving dioramas that bring Stephen Foster’s songs to life. A must-see is the World’s Largest Tubular Bell System, housed in the iconic 200-foot Carillon Tower. The bells are currently undergoing restoration, thanks to support from the Department of State, Division of Historical Resources, the State of Florida, the Stephen Foster Citizen Support Organization and generous donations from visitors like you.

Be sure to visit the Park Store in our Craft Square for all your camping needs and park information. Craft Square is also the heart of our cultural programming, offering workshops and classes on everything from Florida traditions to arts and crafts. You might catch the sound of a blacksmith at work or a fiddle player’s tune as you explore this vibrant area of the park.

For a perfect family outing, take advantage of our picnic pavilion and playground, located behind the Craft Square and Park Store. The pavilion is also available for family reunions and other gatherings—reservations can be made by contacting the Park Store at 386-397-1920.

Whether you're planning an overnight stay or a day trip, Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is an ideal destination.
